Hey everybody...its 9:00 in Kentucky and I just thought I'd give you another "quickie" update:
So last night we ate at Joe's Crab Shack...my meal was delicious, I got a strawberry mango smoothie, salmon, rice & vegetables (in case you didn't notice it by now...vacations for me are all about FOOD ;)) ).
Then we took a long walk and toured downtown Louisville---that was fun---seeing horse drawn carriages (girls, there was this one that was all lit up and shaped like Cinderalla's carriage...I almost died...I wanted to steal it so badly...haha), watching the sunset, running into familiar faces outside of the convention center, exploring the convention center...
Thanks for being patient about the pictures--they are finally up & running, and hopefully I'll take a bunch more today for ya!

*Am I the only one who NEVER noticed (until my dad pointed it out) that there's not typically a 13th floor on hotels (b/c of all the superstition behind the number "13!")
Well, I just got back from working out again (got up at 6:00....uggggh)....I ran on the elliptical bike uphill, biked uphill, did some reps & had fun trying out all of the fun weight machines!! :)
Right now I am CRAVING an egg mcmuffin and a cinnamon dolce latte....and I have no idea why!
The plan for today hasn't been formulated--my mom is still waking up b/c she didn't sleep too well last night!! My goal today though is to be more diligent about knocking out my research paper, it's on Ronald Reagan's speech on the Berlin Wall "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down these walls" & the impact it had upon our nation...I might take it more from the angle of how it impacted my family/dad (since he was in the Air Force at that time & was involved in all that nuclear stuff). If you have any tips, I would appreciate it---I am having major writer's block! :)
I also would like to sit somewhere quietly and just have more time in the Word today....oh....my SLC/5:17 family....I thought you would appreciate this....I forgot to bring my iPod to the gym this morning, so I just huffed and puffed out prayers for ya'll during my workout!! ;)

haha, thanks for the shout out, and the prayers!! those are really appreciated! Sounds like you have a tough topic for your research paper -- that's really cool that you got to talk to your dad about his time in the airforce though!!! Oh and you weren't alone - I had no clue about the whole "13" deal...crazy. Those people need to be saved! haha.
